WESTSIDE LOWRIDER HOP – HAMILTON, OH

Once again, another year in Hamilton has come and gone. As we cruise home up I-75 we leave behind a weekend full of families, hospitality, great food, great rides, and of course intense hopping action!! This year’s hop was entertaining and sportmanship took the top prize as the competitors displayed mutual respect for each others’ work even to the point of helping each other get ready in the pit. Can’t wait until next year!

UCE NATIONAL BANQUET – LOUISVILLE, KY

Cruise. Stop. Destination: Louisville. From LA to Florida, Milwaukee to New Mexico, and Vegas to Kentucky riders from across the US visited the eastern states to celebrate West Coast style lowriding. Doesn’t make sense? It does in a family cars that belong to a club started in California in the early 90s. Since its inception Uce/Uso Car Club has grown in size to include a significant collection of cars from all over. Its only fitting that this year’s banquet was held in the state that had the region’s first chapter. Families, lowriders, food, and southern hospitality made this one an event to remember. Thanks to everyone, especially Kita, for making the club and this event a memorable experience.

LAS VEGAS – 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

While we were in Vegas we renewed our vows in commeration of 5 years together in marriage. The ceremony was small and intimate and sported a backdrop like none other at Red Rock Canyon. Francisco, our host while in Vegas, also was kind enough to serve as the presider over the service and Volo came from LA to take pictures. Special thanks to Adam from Las Vegas Majestics for providing the gorgeous G-Body for photographs after the ceremony. Here are some of the wonderful pictures we received from Volo.

SHOW AND GO / MAJESTICS ROOSTERTAIL PICNIC – DETROIT

How many years running is this picnic anyway? I know we’ve enjoyed it steady the last 5, each year looking forward to Labor Day weekend to get down to the Detroit River and BBQ one last time before the summer escapes us. Riders from all over came out for food, hopping, and showing on a great day on the river at the Roostertail in Detroit.

LAS VEGAS – FRANCO FAMILY

Our wonderful hosts! What can I say? Hospitality is spelled F-R-A-N-C-O on the left coast. Being in Vegas the week BEFORE the Super Show has its drawbacks but the time we were able to spend and the new friendships that were forged (between Jill, Volo, Eve, Cisco, and more) more than outweighed the downside to missing the most prestigious lowrider event of the year. Thank you for the opportunity to get to know your beautiful family and for the food, tours, and shopping experiences. This man even presided over our vow renewal service. Thank you again for all the love and we can’t wait to get your guys out here to return the favor.
