While at Playa Azul in Tulum I had the opportunity to spend some of my afternoons with some wonderful couples visiting the hotel. Brett and Kim from Portland were able to enjoy a week away from Portland before their school district called them back to work another 10 month cycle of educating young people. It was great getting to spend some time getting to know them and taking some photographs .
Playa Azul Hotel and Restaurant in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico was a pleasant surprise nestled between the Caribbean and the jungle in the Mayan Riveria! The location is only a short drive from Tulum, the jungle, cenotes, Mayan Ruins, and more history and culture than can be listed. When we spoke about me coming down to take pictures for the website and brochures I didn’t know exactly what to expect upon arrival but what I found was everything mentioned above as well as a tranquil environment and more interesting people than can be recounted. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!! I can’t wait to return for more work and play at Playa Azul!

Another quick trip down I-75 S lands us right outside Cincinnati for a full day of people, cruising, eating, and parking! From the hotel, to the BBQ, to the hop, to the rides and the people this one is always non-stop. Props to Ted for the help scouting spots downtown. Can’t wait to see the region get national attention for this one! Until next year…
When Vanessa Gray and Juan Salas contacted me with the official news that they were engaged and that I would be shooting the wedding I was ecstatic! A beautiful couple with a gorgeous family getting married in a multi-cultural setting… what more could a photographer ask for? From Holy Redeemer in the heart of southwest Detroit to Belle Isle outside downtown the day was a scenic adventure of brick, culture, makeup, murals, skyline, architectural and personal beauty. The day was perfect, the food was hot, the guests were colorful, and the music was loud! Enjoy some of the pics from their special day…
When Terrance and Shiela came together on June 27, 2009 to tie the knot with a few friends and family members the cameras were clicking. So… a Scot and a Columbian walk into a mansion designed by a famous architect for one of the richest men in the world. While this may sound like a line to a riddle the punchline is the May 2nd Collins-Castano wedding at the Henry Ford Estates in Dearborn, MI. The service and reception were held on the grounds and bright, beautiful weather highlighted the day’s events. Not only was there a beautiful couple hosting a wonderful wedding but the atmosphere and the guests also contributed to the charm.

Another weekend with the Ramirez’ to celebrate faith and family. As Jesus Ramirez III turns 15 the cameras were rolling. Everyone was able to savor the warm summer day’s mass and reception. Family, food, and dancing carried over into the late evening hours in a memorable celebration that included El Barrio Car Club and a live band. Thanks to the Ramirez’ and to El Barrio CC for another memorable weekend in Chicago. See you guys soon!
For a second day of activities riders from Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnatti, Los Angeles, New York, St Louis, Texas, Indiana, and several other cities came out in Louisville for the first annual Kentucky Individuals’ Picnic and Hop. A day full of fun and action followed supported by good weather. Thanks to KY Individuals for putting on a great event for everyone. We look forward to seeing the Individual members at the various picnics throughout the Midwest this summer and especially look forward to next year’s picnic!!
This past weekend riders from Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnatti, Los Angeles, New York, St Louis, Texas, Indiana, and several other cities descended on Louisville the night before the Kentucky Individuals’ Picnic and Hop. Individuals invited the crowd to share a meal then join them for an evening of cruising. The weather was perfect and the timing was great to get people ready for the events the next day.
